We are hiring Senior Test Engineers - Network Testing for a global service provider based out of: London Speechmark / Newbury / Birmingham Small Heath / Manchester / Glasgow - Fixed time contract for 6-1 year.
Senior Test Engineer – Network Testing
Clearance: SC Cleared / Non-SC
Experience: 5+ Years
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and manage end-to-end testing for telecom/network infrastructure projects.
- Develop and review test cases, scripts, and execution evidence.
- Perform SIT, Functional, Non-Functional, DR, and OAT testing.
- Manage defect lifecycle, root cause analysis, and retesting.
- Work across routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, LAN/Wi-Fi, Data Centre, Cloud, Security, UC, and Mobility.
- Mentor junior testers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintain ALM, requirements traceability, and test reporting.

Required Skills
- 5+ years in telecom/network testing.
- Strong experience with ALM, defect management, and test design.
- Knowledge of Cisco networking, RFC 2544, and infrastructure testing.
- ISTQB preferred; CCNA/CCNP or equivalent desirable.

- Perform network infrastructure testing across routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, LAN/Wi-Fi, Cloud, and Data Centre environments.

- Prepare test environments, execute RFC 2544 testing, and produce test reports.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of telecom/network testing experience.
- Cisco router/switch knowledge and HLD/LLD interpretation.
- Experience with ALM, defect management, and Microsoft Office.
- ISTQB/CCNA preferred.
