Job Title: Senior Test Engineer
Location: Occasional customer site travel (London, Newbury, Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow)
Employment Type: 1 year FTC
Salary: £38,000 - £50,000
Start Date: Immediate

One of our consultancy clients are on the look out for Test Engineer's with exposure to telecoms and infrastructure to join the team on a 1 year FTC across the UK.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical testing across complex network and infrastructure environments, rather then purely software-based QA.

Test Engineer – Key Skills Required
- 5+ years' relevant testing experience
- Strong telecoms or network infrastructure testing experience
- Hands-on Cisco router/switch knowledge
- Experience interpreting HLDs and LLDs and turning them into test scenarios
- Test case, defect and execution management experience
- ALM experience
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent Excel / Microsoft Office capability

Desirable Skills:
- Experience in customer-facing or critical infrastructure environments (CNI / National Grid advantageous).
- Test automation experience and AI-assisted test design exposure.
- Experience mentoring or technically leading small test teams.
- ITIL working experience.
- Multi-domain breadth across three or more of the twelve VBTS domains.
Certifications:
- ISTQB Foundation - expected.
- ITIL - desirable.
- Relevant network/cloud certificate ons (e.g. CCNA/CCNP, cloud provider certs) are desirable.
