Senior Tester | Analytical Pipeline Migration & Data Gateway
Role Purpose
We are seeking a Senior Tester to provide end-to-end quality assurance across the RIPT Analytical Pipeline Migration (APM) and Data Gateway & Publications workstreams. The role will assure the complete journey: Source Data → Analytical Pipeline → Data Transformation → API/Data Feed → Data Gateway → Public-Facing Product
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver risk-based test strategies, plans, and scenarios across data and digital services.
- Test analytical pipelines, data transformations, migrations, and source-to-target reconciliation.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and business rules from source through to publication.
- Perform functional, integration, API, regression, and end-to-end testing across frontend and backend services.
- Test publication templates, dashboards, automated feeds, and public-facing services, including accessibility and responsive testing.
- Maintain traceability across requirements → test scenarios → evidence → defects → acceptance.
- Manage test data, environments, dependencies, defects, and delivery risks.
- Identify opportunities for automation, particularly for API, regression, data validation, and pipeline testing.
- Support UAT, business acceptance, release-readiness assessments, and production verification.
- Work collaboratively with Product, BA, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and client stakeholders, providing clear quality and risk reporting.

Essential Experience
- 7+ years' experience across manual, automation, and analytics testing.
- Strong experience in API/integration, data, and end-to-end testing.
- Selenium/Java automation, BDD, and CI/CD experience.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and/or Jira.
- Data validation, analytics, and accessibility testing.
- Experience testing complex applications, workflows, user journeys, data processing, and integrations.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across QA, development, and analytics teams.
- Ability to translate requirements into effective test scenarios and provide evidence-based release recommendations.
