Senior Threat Hunter

Location: Hybrid (UK – 2-3 days per week in the office)

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Private Medical Insurance + Annual Leave

About the Role

I'm looking for a Senior Threat Hunter to join a growing Cyber Security practice within a global digital transformation consultancy. This is an opportunity to work with various household name clients, helping to proactively identify threats, build security automations, and strengthen cyber resilience.

This is not a traditional SOC Analyst position. I'm looking for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys combining cyber threat hunting with hands-on Python development and automation.

You'll be responsible for identifying emerging threats, developing detection and response capabilities, and creating automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Proactively hunt for cyber threats across enterprise environments.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate security processes and workflows.
  • Investigate indicators of compromise and emerging attack techniques.
  • Build and improve threat detection capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal cyber teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Work alongside multiple delivery partners within a large enterprise environment.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of an expanding Cyber Security practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
