Senior Total Rewards Specialist – Peterborough (hybrid)

Convera is seeking a Senior Total Rewards Specialist to support and enhance our global Total Rewards programs through a combination of benefits administration, compensation support, and employee engagement initiatives. Reporting into the Total Rewards team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of international benefits programs, global leave processes, vendor relationships, invoicing, and compensation activities. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of benefits, retirement, wellbeing, and compensation initiatives, including market benchmarking, pay analysis, and annual compensation cycles. As part of a global function, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate program effectiveness, ensure compliance, improve processes, and increase employee awareness and engagement with our Total Rewards offerings.

This is a hybrid work model (onsite 2-3 times per week).

Please note: For this position, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must already have the permanent legal right to work in the country they apply to and be able to start and maintain employment without visa support from Convera.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of international benefits programs.
  • Playing a key role in the strategic design and implementation of benefits, retirement, and wellbeing initiatives that reflect company values and address employees' needs at every stage of life.
  • Supporting compensation processes and projects, including market benchmarking, pay range analysis, annual compensation planning, and the preparation of materials to inform reward decisions.
  • Managing global leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with vendors, brokers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Leading project plans and timelines for the implementation of innovative programs and plan design enhancements.
  • Utilizing strong analytical skills to evaluate program utilization, identify trends, and recommend improvements to increase program effectiveness.
  • Analyzing compensation and benefits data to identify trends, assess market competitiveness, and recommend improvements that support talent attraction, retention, and internal equity.
  • Developing and delivering organization-wide communications to inform employees and stakeholders about program updates and changes.
  • Managing benefits invoicing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Driving employee awareness, understanding, and engagement with available benefits programs and offerings.
  • Partnering with Finance, Tax, and Audit teams to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, reconciliations, and audit readiness across benefits and compensation processes.

You should apply if you have:

  • At least 4 years of in-depth experience in benefits and retirement plan management, ideally within a multinational organization or consulting firm. Previous experience managing outsourced vendors.
  • At least 3 years of experience with benefit renewals and analysis. Skilled in negotiation and maintaining constructive relationships with works councils and unions.
  • At least 3 years’ experience of in-depth analytical skills and project management.
  • Experience supporting compensation programs, including salary benchmarking, pay analysis, compensation cycle administration, or broader Total Rewards initiatives.
  • At least 2 years of EMEA benefit plan laws and regulations.
  • At least 2 years of management administration leave in EMEA.
  • Proficiency with Dayforce system, and or Darwin is a plus.
  • Experience with due diligence and integration during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
  • Self-driven with strong work ethics and the ability to manage diverse responsibilities independently.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, analytical, and project management abilities.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret compensation, benefits, and workforce data and translate insights into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Resourceful, initiative-taking, and adept at multitasking while meeting deadlines with mindfulness.
