This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Planner with 3+ years consultancy experience who is looking to take the next step in their career, work on a diverse range of exciting projects, and develop their professional expertise within an established and supportive team.

The Role

The successful Senior Planner will work across a varied portfolio of public and private sector projects, providing planning advice and supporting clients in securing planning permissions for a range of development schemes.

You will have the opportunity to work across sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, education, retail, energy, leisure, employment, and major infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse portfolio of planning projects and clients.
• Providing high-quality planning advice throughout the development process.
• Preparing and submitting planning applications.
• Liaising with clients, local authorities, stakeholders, and communities.
• Supporting projects across areas including renewable energy, environmental, marine, and major infrastructure.
• Contributing to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and wider environmental projects.
• Managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
• Keeping up to date with changes to planning legislation, policy, and best practice.
• Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team.
• Building strong relationships with clients and helping to develop new opportunities.
