A well-established and respected independent planning consultancy is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join its growing team in the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner to take on a key role within a supportive, professional consultancy known for delivering high-quality planning advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing planning applications, appeals, and pre-application submissions
  • Providing strategic planning advice across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments
  • Preparing high-quality planning statements and supporting documents
  • Liaising with local planning authorities, consultees and stakeholders
  • Managing projects and timelines effectively
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
  • Contributing to client relationships and repeat business

About You

  • MRTPI qualified (or close to chartership with relevant experience)
  • Background in UK planning consultancy or local authority
  • Strong understanding of the UK planning system
  • Confident communicator with good report-writing skills
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects
  • Keen to develop your career within a consultancy environment
