The role
We're hiring for flexible (full time, part time, fixed term, permanent, remote) roles for experienced sanctions and export controls professionals. The roles involve advising clients on a variety of export controls and sanctions matters. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing deep technical advice
- Reviewing and providing recommendations on compliance programme structure and design (including third party digital tools and platforms)
- Supporting with training and stakeholder management
- Undertaking tasks such as export classification, licensing applications, and complex due diligence
You will be empowered to work independently and closely with our clients in their offices or remotely, but you will have the support of our broader team of technical specialists, which you will join.
Who we are looking for
- At least ten (10) years industry experience in a sanctions and/or export controls role, not in financial services and ideally in technology, telecommunications, engineering, space, or aerospace.
- Extremely strong technical expertise in sanctions and export controls (at a minimum, demonstrable knowledge and experience of UK, EU, and US regimes).
- Highly self-motivated and independent worker.
- Excellent analytical skills and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience of senior stakeholder engagement.
- Experience using third party digital tools and platforms, including AI.

- Up to £208,000 p.a. dependant on experience (pro rated for working days to be agreed)
- 10%+ discretionary annual bonus
