Job Description
Our Brands team advises an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients on the protection, development and enforcement of some of their most valuable assets. Working alongside leading trade mark, IP litigation and commercial IP specialists, you'll play a key role in the continued growth of our practice, managing complex international portfolios, strengthening client relationships, and helping shape the future of our brand protection offering.
What You'll Do
- Manage and develop domestic and international trade mark portfolios for a broad range of clients, from global brands to high-growth businesses.
- Advise on trade mark clearance, filing strategies, prosecution, portfolio management and brand protection matters.
- Handle contentious matters, including oppositions, cancellations, invalidity and revocation actions, as well as wider enforcement issues.
- Work closely with commercial IP and IP litigation colleagues on strategic and business-critical matters.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, delivering commercially focused and pragmatic advice.
- Contribute to business development activities, including pitches, client presentations, networking and thought leadership.
- Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to the continued growth and development of the Brands practice.

Who We're Looking For
- Qualified UK Trade Mark Attorney with significant post-qualification experience.
- Strong expertise in trade mark prosecution, portfolio management and contentious proceedings before the UKIPO and EUIPO.
- Experience managing international trade mark portfolios and coordinating cross-border matters.
- Proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver commercially focused advice.
- Experience supervising, coaching and developing junior colleagues.
