About BABYBOO

BABYBOO is a rapidly scaling Australian fashion eCommerce brand, shipping statement pieces around the world. We exist to empower women to look and feel incredible for their most special moments – from first click to final wear.

We move fast, we back our ideas with data, and we’re obsessed with our customer. With a strong foothold in Australia, the USA, UK and Europe, we’re building a global brand with a loyal, hype-driven community at the core.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Trade & Merchandising Manager to lead our digital trading strategy and optimize the customer shopping experience across all markets.

This role sits at the intersection of product, customer and commercial performance. You will own the ecommerce trading calendar, onsite merchandising strategy and revenue optimisation initiatives, ensuring the right products are presented to the right customers at the right time.

Combining strong commercial acumen with customer-first thinking, you will drive sales, conversion, average order value and customer engagement through effective trading decisions and merchandising execution.

Crucially, you are a strategic leader who can balance short-term trading opportunities with long-term growth initiatives, while building scalable processes and developing a high-performing team.

You will

  • Own and execute BABYBOO's global ecommerce trading strategy to maximise revenue, conversion and profitability across all markets.
  • Develop and manage the ecommerce trading calendar, aligning product launches, campaigns and promotional activity with commercial objectives.
  • Lead the onsite merchandising strategy, optimising navigation, product discovery, search, collections and customer journeys.
  • Analyse trading performance, customer behaviour and product trends to identify growth opportunities and drive data-led decisions.
  • Partner with Planning and Product teams to optimise inventory productivity, maximise full-price sell-through and support forecasting.
  • Lead the execution of promotional campaigns and key trading events, ensuring flawless delivery across all digital channels.
  • Build reporting frameworks and champion a test-and-learn approach to continually improve ecommerce performance.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the Trade & Merchandising team while collaborating cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Marketing, CRM, Creative, Product and Planning teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
