Role Overview
The Senior Trader Voice & Voice Recording Engineer is responsible for the day to day running and the regulatory requirements of TP ICAP's Global Trader Voice and voice recording Infrastructure. The successful candidate will be multi-skilled with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Role Responsibilities
- Work closely with the project teams to ensure solutions are delivered and provide consistent and effective support.
- Identify and manage risks to legacy voice recording systems and ensure there are comprehensive checks in place to prevent any loss of service and align with the Head of Trader Voice to migrate to a strategic platform.
- Ensure all upgrades and changes to production systems follow the TPICAP process and adhere to the formalised controls processes to guarantee system uptime in order to meet all compliance regulations.
- Provide 3rd line escalation and support 24 x7 to assist with the resolution of complex technical issues.
- Represent the Global Trader Voice team on major voice recording incidents and contribute to incident reports.
- Review and approve planned work in readiness for deployment.
- Collect metrics for vendor 4th Line escalation and ensure deadlines and SLA are met.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all aspects of the production environment.
- Work with Head of Trader Voice to provide system monitoring improvements and alerting tools in order to provide proactive & accurate service reporting of the Global Trader Voice estate and to automate the process controls where possible.
- Complete the transformation from legacy to VFC recording systems and migrate data from existing legacy platforms.
- Maintain current working Knowledge of existing and emerging trends of trader voice and voice recording technology.
- Work with Compliance IT to ensure all regulatory controls and demands for voice recording are being met and amended or improve as required.
- Redesign and transition of voice infrastructure from on premise to AWS.
- Align with the business requirements to incorporate AI & automation for new and more efficient trading workflows for voice broking.

Experience/Competences
Essential
- Knowledge of Verint VFC, Redbox, WordWatch and NICE NTR voice recording systems.
- Detailed understanding of BT Trader voice control requirements, Compliance, Risk and Regulation.
- Understanding of Trader Voice enterprise technologies including IPC, Proetus, Cisco, SBC, MS Teams.
- Detailed knowledge of Trader voice regulatory and compliance technologies, services and practices.
- Detailed knowledge of Cloud based services Cloud-9, MS Teams, Global Relay.
- Subject Matter Expert to providing overall expertise and guidance on Voice Recording platforms for design, implementation and support.
- Professional experience, documenting, planning and managing platforms through their life cycle.
- Experience with AI LLM’s and automation tools for voice and voice recording.
- Experience with implementing voice transcription and data extraction from voice records.
- 5 years + Experience of engineering in Trader voice and voice recording.
- Previous responsibility for supporting Voice recording environments on an enterprise scale.
- Knowledge and experience with ITSM/ITIL V3 Reference model.
- Experience of working in Financial Services.
- Educated to degree level in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

- Complex service delivery experience, preferably in a Multi-Vendor environment.

- Understanding of Compliance regulations (MiFID, DODD-Frank etc.).
