Salary range: £44,685 - £48,003 per annum inclusive of London weighting

Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic Centre and other locations from time to time

About the role
We are looking to recruit a Senior Traffic Order Maker to join our Healthy Streets and Parking Team who will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader with the preparation and implementation of Traffic Management Orders and other statutory processes which contributes to improving public safety.
In this role, you will be required to assist with permanent and temporary traffic regulation orders relating to traffic and parking management schemes including the display and monitoring of public notices.
You will also be required to assist with all aspects relating to statutory including collating and responding to formal objections and representations.
In addition, you will also lead on the use of the ParkMap software and deputise for the Team Leader of Traffic Orders as required.
About you
To be successful you will need to have a minimum qualification of HNC, B/TEC or equivalent in civil engineering that includes traffic-engineering together with knowledge of information technology systems and experience using ParkMap.

You will be required to have practical experience in traffic order making and able to collate, analyse and interpret data accurately.
