About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Traffic Orders Specialist to join our Parking team, supporting the Associate, Traffic Orders in delivering high-quality traffic orders for local authority clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in traffic orders, traffic and parking schemes to contribute to meaningful projects that improve transport management and public services across the UK.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide technical advice to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Draft accurate and compliant traffic orders across a range of schemes
  • Manage traffic order projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales and budgets
  • Support project financial tracking and monthly reviews
  • Maintain project documentation in line with quality assurance standards
  • Line manage and support the development of team members
  • Produce clear and concise research summaries
  • Take advantage of development opportunities to support your career progression

What we are looking for:

  • Strong understanding of traffic order procedures, parking regulations, and traffic management principles
  • Proven experience drafting traffic orders within a local authority or consultancy environment
  • Able to manage your own workload and deliver to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Previous line management experience is desired
