Senior Transaction Manager - VP
About the Role
The Senior Transaction Manager plays a central role in overseeing and executing complex syndicated lending and financing transactions across multiple jurisdictions. This position is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of agency duties—from reviewing financing agreements and closing deals, to coordinating communications among borrowers, lenders, advisors, and internal teams. You will lead the operational management of amendments, waivers, loan transfers, KYC processes, and compliance monitoring, ensuring all actions align with contractual, regulatory, and best-practice standards.
In this senior capacity, you will calculate and validate settlements, fees, interest, and repayments; manage syndicated guarantee and factoring facilities; and ensure the accurate delivery of all documentation and reporting obligations. You will also contribute to the development of internal systems by collaborating with the IT team, while supporting and mentoring junior colleagues within the department.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
