Position Description

At CGI, we deliver high-impact transformation programmes that enable organisations to operate with greater agility, efficiency, and purpose. As a Transition Manager supporting our work with Wellcome Trust, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering complex outsourcing transitions that underpin critical research and innovation. You will drive end-to-end transition success, ensuring seamless service continuity while enabling long-term value for a globally respected, mission-led organisation. Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of outcomes, influence senior stakeholders, and contribute to meaningful change across the Life Sciences and non-profit sector.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

This is a hybrid position but will need the candidate to be close to London as we are expecting you to be regularly present with the client.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
