LONDON — HYBRID | 3 DAYS OFFICE, 2 DAYS HOME

GREAT BASIC SALARY + UNCAPPED COMMISSION

Senior Travel & Events Advisor job in London within the luxury travel and events sector, offering a great basic salary plus uncapped commission. This is a senior advisory role spanning UHNW client travel, group travel and luxury event delivery, covering venue sourcing, guest management and full project ownership.

Our Customer

Ambitions Travel Recruitment is recruiting for a British heritage business that offers an ultra-high-net-worth travel service from offices around the world. Their exclusive membership model delivers a highly personalised and private luxury experience — and their client base represents some of the most discerning travellers globally.

They are now looking to appoint a Senior Travel & Events Advisor to join their team, working hybrid in London — someone who brings deep tailor-made travel expertise alongside experience of luxury events and group travel, exceptional destination knowledge and the professionalism to represent their brand at the highest level. This is a role for someone who takes genuine pride in the detail and understands that for UHNW clients, the quality of the experience is everything.

The Role

In this role, you will take ownership of key elements of the guest journey across events, group travel and private client work — bringing a luxury travel mindset to everything you plan and deliver.

  • Plan and execute complex travel, event and group requirements globally, from initial brief through to delivery
  • Manage the wider guest journey, including accommodation, group bookings, rooming lists and transportation
  • Support global venue and hotel searches, with a strong understanding of event spaces, room inventory and buyout potential
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining control of timelines, budgets and suppliers
  • Bring a luxury travel perspective to events and group programmes, shaping the wider guest experience
  • Work directly with private clients, corporate clients and senior stakeholders
  • Develop compelling client-facing proposals and itineraries
  • Build destination, hotel and product knowledge across the business
  • Take responsibility for the financial and administrative elements of relevant projects and bookings

Experience Required

  • 5+ years’ experience within luxury travel, experiential travel, UHNW travel or a similarly high-touch environment
  • Significant experience managing complex travel arrangements, itineraries and projects directly for clients
  • Strong global hotel and destination knowledge, particularly for groups, events and corporate programmes
  • Experience working with HNW/UHNW clients, C-suite executives or similarly demanding stakeholders
  • Experience managing group travel or working alongside events teams is advantageous
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills, with an outstanding eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident working with clients, guests and suppliers
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing project budgets and booking finances
