Travel Consultant

Central London | Monday to Friday | Normal office hours

Salary: Up to £28,000 depending on experience. Higher with DMC experience.

Are you an experienced Travel Consultant looking for a new opportunity in central London? This is a great opportunity to join a travel business working across inbound travel, European travel, group travel, events, conferences, and incentive travel.

As a Travel Consultant, you will handle quotations, bookings, and the operational management of travel arrangements, working with clients and suppliers to ensure bookings are accurately managed and delivered to a high standard.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and clear quotations and process bookings using booking and reservation systems.
  • Manage the full operational process for confirmed bookings.
  • Work across a variety of travel requirements including inbound, European, group, event, conference, and incentive travel.
  • Contribute to monthly production targets and follow agreed mark-ups.
  • Handle client queries and complaints professionally, escalating where required.
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure arrangements are delivered smoothly.
  • Participate in product training, fam trips, and system training.

Skills and Experience

  • Around two years' experience within the travel industry.
  • Experience as a Travel Consultant, Reservations Consultant, or within a similar travel role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience using booking or reservation systems.
  • Experience within inbound travel, group travel, events, DMC, or incentive travel would be advantageous, but candidates from a broader travel background will also be considered.
