Experience
Essential:
- A minimum of four years’ experience as a Travel Specialist within a luxury, tailor-made travel environment, specialising in complex Latin America itineraries.
- First-hand expertise in our core destinations, particularly Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, and Ecuador.
- A strong track record of delivering exceptional sales performance in a target-driven setting.
- A meticulous approach to client service, ensuring seamless experiences from enquiry to post-travel.
- Advanced IT proficiency, adept at using digital tools and AI to enhance client experience.
- Highly organised, with outstanding time management skills.
Desired:
- Familiarity with GDS/flight operating systems.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
The Role
- Curation of high-quality, tailor-made itineraries for a wide range of traveller segments.
- Managing the end-to-end client journey, including planning, costing, refining, and confirming itineraries, through to post-travel communications and nurturing future travel wish lists.
- Conversion of warm sales leads via email, telephone, and video calls.
- High-quality presentation of customised travel itineraries, including supply of relevant supporting information and advice.
- Delivering gold-standard client service at all stages of the sales process to foster repeat and referral business.
- Proactive expansion of product knowledge, staying informed of the latest industry developments to ensure expertise across our specialist product portfolio.
- Maintaining up-to-date commercial knowledge of properties, flight routings, and logistics.
- Fostering strong working relationships with colleagues and trade partners, while demonstrating a strong team ethic.
