About The Role
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in funding the renewable energy projects that will help shape the UK's net zero future? As a Senior Treasury and Project Finance Analyst, you'll help transform the treasury and project finance function, manage lender relationships, and support the growth of one of the UK's most diverse renewable energy portfolios.
At EDF power solutions, we’re delivering an Electric UK and Ireland.
Your expertise in treasury and project finance will support our ambitious journey from 2GW to 10GW of renewable generation by 2035. You'll help secure and manage the funding that enables new wind, solar and battery storage projects while strengthening the financial foundations of our growing business.
The Opportunity
You'll take a leading role in managing structured project finance activities, treasury operations, and ensuring alignment with governance frameworks, compliance with project finance agreements, monitoring financial covenants, and managing associated risks across our UK and Ireland portfolio. You'll act as a trusted business partner, working closely with senior stakeholders while helping to deliver strategic growth objectives.
Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, you'll join a team working from offices in Durham (preferable), London, Edinburgh, and Cardiff. We work flexibly around business needs, with regular attendance at one of our offices.
You’ll lead and drive treasury transformation initiatives, focusing on automation and standardising processes to improve organisational efficiency and governance. With responsibility for supporting key funding activities and managing important external relationships, you'll have a direct impact on the success of renewable energy projects across the business.
Why EDF power solutions?

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
