Job Description

Key accountabilities:

  • Manage daily liquidity, funding and cash positions across multiple currencies.
  • Support liquidity optimisation, internal funding allocation and balance sheet decisioning.
  • Manage and optimise balance sheet FX exposures, supporting hedging strategies, liquidity management and Treasury decision-making across multiple currencies.
  • Monitor intraday liquidity and support liquidity optimisation and funding activities.
  • Manage fixed-term deposits, central bank balances and other short-term liquidity investments, supporting the continued development of Treasury Markets activities.
  • Provide market, liquidity and FX analysis to support Treasury strategy and decision-making.
  • Deliver management reporting, regulatory support and governance materials.
  • Drive process improvement, automation and Treasury technology initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to Treasury policies, regulatory requirements and risk controls.

Skills & experience required:

  • 5+ years' experience in Treasury, Liquidity Management, Balance Sheet Management, Treasury Markets or related banking functions.
  • Experience managing liquidity, funding, cash forecasting and/or FX activities in a regulated banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of liquidity risk, funding, balance sheet management and FX markets.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems and market dealing platforms.
  • ACT or equivalent Treasury qualification desirable.
  • Knowledge of liquidity management, HQLA, balance sheet optimisation and FX exposure management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong control awareness and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI and PowerPoint experience desirable.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability and a collaborative approach.
