Job Description

The Treasury Department operates a coordinated function across Grosvenor, with direct property operating companies in the UK and Canada and a separate Diversified Property Investments operating company.

The role is key to the successful daily operation of the treasury department as it combines the delivery of daily cash flow operations, treasury reporting and systems management. It requires a strong working relationship across business functions and with the front office team and a desire to drive process improvement and efficiency in the whole department.

The successful candidate will develop strong stakeholder relationships across all levels of management within Grosvenor and with external parties, including banks and system providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completion of the daily and monthly cash management processes, including short term cash flow forecasting.
  • Managing the process for all settlements executed by Treasury and urgent payments requested by the business within banking timelines and applicable policies.
  • Treasury systems management and maintenance, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Maintain the integrity of treasury data across banking, market, counterparty and legal entity records.
  • Preparation of reporting and papers to support decision making, including attendance at the Treasury Operations Committee.
  • Timely and accurate bank account openings and closures, including maintenance of banking and dealing mandates and authorities, KYC documentation and periodic bank reviews.
  • Monitoring of Group Treasury mailbox, collaborating with treasury and finance colleagues to share information or coordinate and prepare responses to enquiries.
  • Support with Treasury transformation projects and process automation, adding creative and innovative ideas.
  • Assisting with internal and external audit requests as required.
  • Maintaining and deepening key stakeholder relationships, internally and externally, using impactful communication.
  • Understanding the needs and expectations of stakeholders and how to add value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
