Senior Treasury Manager
£110,000 - £140,000
Central London
Have you built and scaled a full treasury function in a fast-growing business and want to take something to the next level on an international stage? Aila Recruitment is exclusively supporting a global renewable energy business in the search for a Senior Treasury Manager on a permanent basis.
About the Company:
A clean energy developer, owner and operator backed by a global group with decades of infrastructure expertise, active across the UK, Europe and Australia
Scaling at pace: the operating portfolio is set to grow more than twentyfold as projects already under construction complete
A lean, high-calibre function with real autonomy and strategic ownership
The Role:
The foundations are in place, but the business is growing rapidly and it’s now time for a Treasurer to establish clear ownership of the function and build a coherent Group Treasury capability.
Your job is to take it from working to scalable: deepening the banking relationships, building out the FX and hedging framework, strengthening policies and controls, and making sure treasury is compliant across every jurisdiction the business operates in.
This suits someone who has done this before in a fast-growing business, knows what good looks like at the next stage of scale, and is confident enough to challenge how things are done today.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
