Senior Treasury Strategy Manager
Location: London
Albany Beck is working with a leading global Investment Bank to appoint an experienced Treasury professional to join a high-profile Group Treasury function.
This is a broad and highly visible role supporting major Treasury regulatory change initiatives, Treasury transformation programmes and strategic business priorities. The successful candidate will work across Treasury, Finance and the wider business, helping to assess the impact of regulatory developments, support capital and liquidity planning, and provide analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
The role would suit someone with experience across Treasury, Capital Management, Liquidity, Balance Sheet Management or Treasury Regulatory Change who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment, driving initiatives forward and influencing decision-making at senior levels.
The Role
You will support a range of strategic Treasury initiatives, combining financial analysis, planning, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery.
- Working closely with subject matter experts across Treasury, Finance, Risk and the business, you will help evaluate regulatory impacts, support capital and liquidity decision-making, and contribute to strategic change initiatives across the organisation.
- A key aspect of the role will be translating complex Treasury concepts into clear recommendations, governance materials and decision-ready papers for senior management.

- Support Treasury regulatory change initiatives and strategic Treasury projects.
- Assess the impact of regulatory developments on capital, liquidity, funding and balance sheet management.
- Deliver financial analysis, forecasting and planning activities to support Treasury decision-making.
- Support capital and liquidity planning processes and related governance activities.
- Prepare senior management presentations, governance papers, briefing materials and business cases.
- Partner with stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, Risk and the wider business to gather insight and drive delivery.
- Coordinate and support Treasury transformation and optimisation initiatives.
- Analyse financial performance, forecasts and strategic assumptions to support business planning.
- Contribute to regulatory impact assessments, implementation planning and change delivery activities.
- Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for improved efficiency, governance and control.
- Ensure key decisions, assumptions, actions and risks are clearly documented and communicated.
- Support senior stakeholder discussions and governance forums across the Treasury function.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Treasury professional who can quickly establish themselves within a complex banking environment and contribute across both strategic and regulatory initiatives.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience operating at VP, Senior AVP or Associate Director level within a large banking or Financial Services organisation.
- Strong experience within Treasury, Capital Management, Liquidity Management, Funding, Balance Sheet Management or Treasury Regulatory Change.
- Experience delivering or supporting major regulatory change programmes such as Basel 3.1, Basel IV, CRR, CRD or similar Treasury-related initiatives.
- Strong understanding of capital, liquidity, funding and regulatory requirements within a banking environment.
- Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, planning and performance assessment.
- Ability to produce high-quality governance papers, presentations and materials for senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across Treasury, Finance, Risk and business teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence decision-making.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach with the ability to challenge constructively and drive change.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
