Senior Manager – Treasury

Salary: £105,000 - 110,000 + bonus
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join the Treasury function of an established financial services business in London.
This is an opportunity for a treasury professional with a strong understanding of financial markets, cash and liquidity management, FX and collateral management to take on a varied role within a fast-paced investment environment.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, clients, and external counterparties, you will support day-to-day treasury operations, contribute to effective funding and risk management, and help drive improvements across existing processes and controls.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cash and liquidity management across multiple asset classes.
- Support FX hedging activities and the efficient management of currency exposures.
- Manage collateral and margin requirements, ensuring appropriate funding and timely settlement.
- Support financing activities across fixed income markets.
- Monitor and resolve settlement issues, cash discrepancies, and position breaks.
- Liaise with clients, banks, counterparties, and internal teams to resolve operational and trading-related queries.
- Assist with margin dispute resolution and related processes.
- Contribute to treasury reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed service standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, processes, and controls.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, helping maintain high standards across the team.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Experience in treasury, collateral management, or a related financial markets role.
- Experience within a buy-side or investment management environment is advantageous.
- A good understanding of FX, fixed income, and financial market instruments.
- Practical experience across multiple asset classes.
- Experience working with clients, banks, and internal stakeholders.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification.
Technical Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good knowledge of FX and fixed income markets.
- Experience with cash management, collateral processes, and margin workflows.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or VBA would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with relevant treasury or margin management systems is beneficial.
