Senior Treasury Manager

As a Senior Treasury Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day treasury operations and ensure efficient cash and liquidity management. This role in financial services plays a key part in supporting the accounting and finance department by maintaining smooth financial workflows.

This role is with a company in the financial services sector located in Central London.

Description

  • Contribute to the development of treasury systems and processes.
  • Oversee and produce the full suite of Treasury and ALCO MI.
  • Provide oversight of cash and bank account management in a complex group structure. Maintaining day-to-day current processes whilst assisting Head of Treasury, on Treasury Strategy, including restructure of all Cash Management and banking structure & the options for implementing notional cash pooling or cash concentration.
  • Production of cash flow forecasting and supporting Head of Treasury in Liquidity Strategy.
  • Cash Reporting to senior management and the Board on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis as needed.
  • Streamlining Treasury processes and working to implement Treasury best practice in a fast-moving environment.
  • Identification of IRRBB and Basis Risk and with Head of Treasury to manage and mitigate risk.
  • Lead stress testing for capital and liquidity within ALCO reporting.
  • Assist with maintenance of ICAAP, ILAAP, and RRP process.
  • Assist other areas of the business with pricing decisions.
  • Liaise with 3rd party providers to Treasury such as correspondent banks, brokers, and system suppliers.

  • ACT or CFA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Background in Banking, Challenger Banks, Building Societies, or broader Financial Services.
  • Several years' of demonstrable experience in a PRA regulated entity treasury, front or middle office roles.
  • Excel/modelling and analytical skills and exceptional reporting of metrics.
  • Knowledge of ICAAP/ILAAP/RRP.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office is a minimum requirement.
  • Clear communicator who works well within a team environment.

Job Offer

  • Daily rate of £700 to £800, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Temporary contract offering flexibility and professional growth.
  • Hybrid working, 3 days in the office per week.
