Senior Treasury Manager (6-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Overview
An established international organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Manager to join its finance function on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will be responsible for overseeing treasury operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions, ensuring robust cash management, liquidity planning, banking governance, and financial risk management.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance stakeholders, providing treasury expertise, strengthening controls, and supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury & Cash Management
- Manage day-to-day treasury activities across domestic and international operations.
- Oversee cash positioning and rolling cash flow forecasting processes.
- Support short, medium, and long-term liquidity planning.
- Ensure appropriate funding and liquidity levels are maintained across group entities.
- Manage intercompany funding arrangements and cash concentration structures.
- Oversee the investment of surplus cash in line with internal policies.

Banking & Treasury Operations
- Manage the full bank account lifecycle, including account openings, closures, and mandate administration.
- Maintain authorised signatory records, banking documentation, and online banking platforms.
- Conduct periodic reviews of bank account access and user controls.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banking partners.
- Support management of payment service providers and associated processes.
Risk Management & Controls
- Monitor and manage foreign exchange, liquidity, interest rate, and counterparty risks.
- Support treasury risk management and hedging activities where required.
- Maintain strong controls across payments, banking access, and treasury data.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
Debt & Treasury Reporting
- Assist with the administration of financing facilities and related obligations.
- Produce regular treasury reporting for senior finance stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on cash balances, borrowing positions, liquidity metrics, and forecasting accuracy.
- Support board and senior management reporting requirements.
- Partner closely with finance teams to ensure accurate treasury accounting and reporting.

Systems & Process Improvement
- Drive treasury process improvements, standardisation, and automation initiatives.
- Support finance transformation and systems enhancement projects.
- Maintain treasury management systems and banking technology platforms.
- Ensure treasury policies and procedures remain current and effective.
Stakeholder Management
- Provide guidance and support to junior treasury team members where applicable.
- Partner with finance, tax, legal, technology, and operational teams across the organisation.
- Act as a key treasury contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- Proven treasury experience within a complex, multi-entity environment.
- Strong cash management, liquidity forecasting, and banking operations knowledge.
- Experience managing banking relationships and treasury controls.
- Familiarity with treasury management systems and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Professional treasury or accounting qualification advantageous but not essential.
