Senior Treasury Operations Analyst

Trust unlocks our greatest potential. For decades, the clearing of payments remained unchanged and unchallenged. We asked, what if there was a better way? What if we could make banking infrastructure faster, safer, more reliable, and easier to access for all? Here is where you can think radically and responsibly to find the best solution.

Trust creates safety. Safety encourages you to be brave, to challenge, to fail, to try new things and to execute. At ClearBank everything revolves around trust. We’re not expected to earn it, but we are expected not to break it. We’re trusted to own it. To solve issues in the moment. To know a good risk when we see one, and the judgement to know that ‘can’ doesn’t always mean you ‘should’.

What you can expect:

ClearBank is a place where you can do things differently and challenge the status quo. We will give you a high level of autonomy and transparency, and we trust you to make the right decisions for the bank.

If that excites you, how about joining our Treasury Operations team as a Senior Treasury Operations Analyst? Reporting to the Treasury Operations Lead, you will support Treasury Operations activities across ClearBank Group entities, including cash management, FX settlement, collateral and margin management and related processes. The role is responsible for executing complex operational activity with a high degree of accuracy and control, supporting day-to-day Treasury and contributing to the safe, resilient operation of a control-critical function, while ensuring excellent service to internal and external stakeholders. As a senior member of the team, the role will deputise for the Treasury Operations Lead when required, providing operational leadership on shift, including coaching and direction to team members, while identifying efficiencies and continuous improvements across the function.

Please note - This role operates within a shift-based Treasury Operations environment. Specific shift arrangements are communicated separately and may vary over time.

Your role includes:

  • Execute Treasury Operations activities across multiple ClearBank Group entities and multi-currency Nostro accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and strong control discipline
  • Perform and monitor FX settlement activity with multiple FX providers, resolving issues and exceptions within agreed procedures
  • Support cash and liquidity management processes, working closely with Treasury to manage intraday and end-of-day balances
  • Manage collateral and margin activity relating to UK securities, including transfers, settlement and ongoing monitoring of asset sales
  • Ensure all Treasury and cash management instruments, including FX swaps and money market funds, are confirmed and settled without exceptions
  • Deputise for the Treasury Operations Shift Manager when required, leading operational activity on shift and acting as a point of escalation within established BAU and contingency procedures
  • Exercise sound judgement during live operational issues, escalating in a timely manner where there is a high degree of certainty that existing processes or controls may fail
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance Treasury Operations processes, controls and workflows
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and, where required, external counterparties to support smooth operational delivery
  • Produce operational reporting and management information as required to support oversight and decision-making
  • Support the onboarding and operation of new Treasury instruments and products as ClearBank Group’s offering evolves

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
