Interim Senior Treasury Operations Officer (9-Month FTC)
Leeds | Hybrid Working
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established national organisation as an Interim Senior Treasury Operations Officer, supporting a critical phase in the evolution of its Treasury Operations function.
This is a highly visible, change-focused role, offering the chance to play a key part in embedding a new Treasury Management System and helping shape a robust, scalable and audit-ready operating environment.
The role is critical in building out essential documentation, process maps and control frameworks to ensure operational processes are fully embedded, well-governed and capable of supporting future growth and regulatory requirements. Working with cross-functional teams, you will help transition the function from project implementation to a mature and sustainable BAU operating model.

The Role
Working closely with Treasury, Finance, Risk and Technology teams, you will:
- Lead process mapping and documentation across Treasury Operations
- Review and enhance operational controls and governance frameworks
- Support the embedding and optimisation of the Murex platform post go-live
- Assist with testing, issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strengthen audit readiness and control effectiveness
- Provide operational insight through targeted involvement in payment and settlement activities, including payment release and BAU control checking

About You
You will likely have experience gained within:
- Business analysis, process improvement or change management roles
- Risk, controls and operational governance frameworks
- Producing process documentation and operating procedures
