As the Senior Requisitioning Focal Point for the Turnaround Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful planning and delivery of Turnaround events by managing and coordinating material requisition activities from end to end. You will be responsible for creating, controlling and maintaining material requests, ensuring all requisitioning processes are delivered efficiently and in line with project requirements. Acting as the subject matter expert for SAP requisitioning processes, you will support ongoing SAP HANA improvements relating to Turnaround material management. In addition, you will provide guidance, coaching and training to both site-based requisitioners and wider requisitioning resources within our Mumbai AO team, promoting consistent standards, clear accountability and high-quality service delivery across all locations.
Primary Accountabilities
- Act as the senior requisitioning focal point for Turnaround activities, ensuring all material requirements are identified, requisitioned and available to support successful event delivery.
- Create and manage material requisitions and reservations for Turnaround and associated project requirements.
- Identify long lead-time materials in collaboration with Engineers and Planners, ensuring requisitions are raised with sufficient technical detail to support competitive procurement activities.
- Utilise SAP and iPlan to order materials, maintain accurate tracking records and ensure all documentation is appropriately filed and controlled.
- Raise material requests against the correct Work Orders and Job/Tracker Sheet references, ensuring full cost and asset traceability.
- Coordinate PPE requirements with the Warehouse team and manage stock withdrawals during execution to minimise unnecessary purchasing and stockholding.
- Ensure discovery work materials are delivered within required timescales to support Turnaround schedules.
- Support the movement, coordination and distribution of materials through close collaboration with Stores, External Liaison teams and contractors.
- Work closely with offshore requisitioning teams to ensure all material demand is raised in accordance with engineering specifications and site standards.
- Manage local Turnaround material stores, working alongside Inventory Analysts to maintain appropriate stock levels and replenishment activities.
- Act as the subject matter expert for SAP requisitioning processes, providing guidance on system usage, data integrity, controls and issue resolution.
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of SAP HANA enhancements, contributing operational expertise to system design, testing and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve requisitioning procedures, work instructions, training materials and governance controls.
- Utilise StageIT alongside the Warehouse team to support upcoming Turnarounds, ensuring material locations are communicated effectively to Engineers and Planners.
- Comply with site permit-to-work procedures and all associated control systems.
- Maintain accurate, auditable records to support financial control, assurance and compliance requirements.
- Support financial reviews, audits and event close-out activities across the wider Turnaround team.
- Provide day-to-day functional leadership, technical support and guidance to requisitioning personnel across both UK and offshore locations.
- Lead the induction, training and ongoing development of new requisitioning team members, including offshore resources.
- Establish clear working standards, monitor quality and performance, and provide constructive coaching and feedback to promote consistency and capability development.

- Support Turnaround events as required, including occasional additional hours and weekend working to meet business needs.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel between site locations where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
