Senior UI/UX Designer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer based in United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to create engaging digital experiences by combining strong visual design, user experience principles, and technical understanding.
You will work across branding, web, content, and digital products, transforming ideas into polished and interactive experiences.
The position requires a creative thinker who can bridge the gap between design concepts and technical implementation.
You will collaborate closely with developers, creative teams, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, high-quality interfaces.
The ideal candidate enjoys exploring new design approaches, using technology and AI tools to improve workflows, and solving complex user challenges.
This is a high-impact remote role where your creativity and expertise will directly shape digital products and experiences.
Accountabilities
The Senior UI/UX Designer will be responsible for creating user-centered digital experiences, leading design projects from concept to execution, and ensuring that creative ideas are translated into functional and visually compelling solutions.
- Design intuitive, high-quality user interfaces for web and mobile products.
- Translate briefs, business goals, and product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Create interactive prototypes that communicate user behaviour, interactions, and overall experience beyond static visuals.
- Apply strong design principles including grid systems, spacing, typography, layout structure, usability, and accessibility considerations.
- Use AI-powered design tools to accelerate exploration, ideation, and rapid prototyping while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate and effective design implementation.
- Present, explain, and defend design decisions to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Organize and structure design workflows to support efficient project delivery.
- Contribute creative ideas and innovative approaches to improve digital experiences.
- Support projects across branding, websites, content, and digital marketing initiatives.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced UI/UX professional with strong visual design skills, technical awareness, and the ability to independently manage complex design projects in a remote environment.
- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Digital Design, or a similar senior-level role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating advanced UI/UX capabilities and creative experience, particularly with web-based digital experiences.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including interactive prototyping and design systems.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX fundamentals, usability principles, information hierarchy, responsive design, and accessibility basics.
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong understanding of grids, spacing, typography, and layout composition.
- Proven experience collaborating with developers and technical teams.
- Ability to transform early concepts into polished, production-ready digital experiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence presenting and explaining design decisions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team.
- Experience designing experimental, immersive, or highly interactive websites is a plus.
- Basic front-end development knowledge, including HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, is beneficial.
- Experience with motion design, animations, micro-interactions, transitions, or 3D assets is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI-driven design workflows and creative tools is a plus.
- Experience designing mobile applications, e-commerce websites, or working with Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.
