Creative Assembly / SEGA is recruiting for the role of Senior UI/UX Designer. This role is for a UI/UX designer working on the Total War franchise, creating accessible, intuitive interfaces and prototypes with game designers and development teams. It also involves iterating designs from user research and maintaining technical documentation.

What you’ll do

  • Work with designers and developers to build UI features from research through to in-game implementation.
  • Use user test, survey, and quantitative data to improve designs.
  • Create high-quality assets that follow the visual style guide.
  • Design layouts that fit the design system and established UX patterns.
  • Provide and keep technical documentation for the features you work on.
  • Work with outsource partners when needed.

What they’re looking for

  • Strong UI/UX design skills in wireframing, interaction design, prototyping, and information hierarchy.
  • Strong visual design skills in composition, typography, iconography, layout, and colour theory.
  • Working knowledge of standard tools including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AfterEffects.
  • Technical knowledge and a desire to learn in-house implementation tools.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for making quality products.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to take ownership and responsibility.
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas effectively.
  • Solid understanding of UX methodologies and how they apply to game design.
