Opportunity for a Senior Underwriter

This is an opportunity for a senior underwriter to join a growing property fund, with the aim of becoming Head of Underwriting (managing a team of two) within six months.

About the Firm

The firm is a well-backed lender with a lot of capital to deploy. They provide bridge loans (commercial and residential), commercial mortgages, and ground-up development finance up to £7.5m.

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in UK property finance.
  • Bank Background: Someone who has worked in a bank, formally trained in credit risk.
  • Short-term Lending: Experience of short-term lending.
  • Leadership: A strong personality who is capable of running a small team.

Salary

Up to £110k, depending on experience.
