We've been retained by an insurance carrier with an international transactional risk offering, underwriting standalone tax liability insurance across the UK and international markets. Following sustained growth, they are looking to appoint an Underwriting Director to lead their tax insurance class outside the Americas.

This is a step up from running a book to owning a class. You will take full responsibility for it across the international territory: setting its vision and strategy, answering for its results, and securing the buy-in of the capacity behind it. You will also build the team and the underwriting capability needed to grow it across a broad and varied territory.

We're keen to speak with experienced tax insurance underwriters who are ready to lead a class rather than a book. You'll bring deep technical judgement on complex domestic and cross-border tax positions, and the appetite to develop people and capability, not just premium.
