Senior Underwriting Support Assistant

Pro currently has an exciting opportunity to join us as a Technical Analyst in Risk Capture to be part of our Insurance Services team. The job holder will meet all Client service levels, deliverables and deadlines for the processing of Risk Capture documentation.

Pro operates a hybrid working model, with time split working from home and the client London office (minimum 3 days a week)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accurate technical processing including submissions, documentation preparation and security checks
  • In person Underwriting support – providing face to face support to underwriters
  • Processing tasks accurately, in an efficient manner, in line with client SLA’s.
  • Ability to quality control processing work and identify anomalies and errors
  • Coordinate with offshore teams, providing clear handovers and building strong relationships
  • Professional stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs
  • Operational reporting

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a similar role within the insurance market
  • Strong technical skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of principles of insurance is essential, knowledge of Political Risk is desirable
  • Good understanding of London market systems and procedures is desirable.
  • Experience of underwriting processing systems is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues.
