About CayPlay Studios

CayPlay Studios is looking for a senior Unity engineer to join our team full-time and take ownership of performance optimization and console porting across our games. This role will work alongside our existing team on one of our current console titles, helping us continue to improve the port and bring it up to the standard we expect. You’ll also help us establish the internal workflows and technical foundation needed to approach console development earlier and more directly on future titles, reducing our reliance on external partners.

This is a highly hands-on technical role. You’ll be expected to dig into unfamiliar problems, identify the real cause of performance issues, implement practical solutions, and help establish the systems and best practices we use for console development going forward.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
