Senior University Recruiter

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our People team are the architects of a great workplace where brilliant minds come together to do their best work. From discovering diverse talent and nurturing future leaders, to creating spaces that spark collaboration and crafting rewards that celebrate success - we're passionate about building a culture where everyone can thrive.

We’re looking for a Senior University Recruiter to help us identify and attract top-tier early career talent to join our Engineering and Design teams across Europe. For the first time, our global organizations of DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo will be joining forces for one unified, global internship program and you would be on the forefront of building what this strategy looks like for the EU hiring initiatives and work with a global team. From building relationships with universities to advising on the interview processes, being a part of headcount conversations to planning events and running performance review cycles, you will help build the foundations of this program making it something that can scale and grow each year.

Your impact will go beyond filling roles; you’ll shape how we approach hiring from how we define what ‘great’ looks like in an engineer. You’ll play a key role in how we build diverse talent pipelines and create a seamless experience for every candidate and intern throughout the program. You’ll be the bridge between us and top university talent, helping Deliveroo continue to invest in, build, and grow the next generation.

This role sits within our Engineering Recruiting team and reports into the Recruiting Manager for Global University Recruiting. It will be based in our London headquarter.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Engineering Recruiting team. As part of a newly unified global initiative across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo, you will lead end-to-end early careers hiring for our Engineering and Design organisations in Europe while shaping a scalable, world-class intern program.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • End-to-End Recruitment Delivery: Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical intern and new graduate roles across the UK and Finland, from sourcing and interviewing to extending final offers.
  • DE&I & Pipeline Building: Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into every hiring stage by diversifying sourcing channels, reducing assessment bias, and building diverse interview panels.
  • Intern Program Management: Design and run the European intern program framework, including onboarding, event planning, benefits coordination, performance review cycles, and ongoing intern support.
  • Stakeholder & Interviewer Enablement: Coach hiring managers and train interviewers on best practices for evaluating, onboarding, and mentoring early careers talent.
  • University Partnerships & Employer Branding: Act as a brand ambassador across universities and industry events while establishing strategic partnerships with target institutions and diversity organisations.
  • Process Optimisation & Data Reporting: Track key pipeline metrics and use data-driven insights to refine workflows, advise leadership, and continually improve hiring efficiency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
