Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Unreal C++ Developer to lead the design and development of high-performance backend systems within our iGaming platform. This role combines hands-on engineering excellence with technical leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior and mid-level developers, reviewing code quality, and driving best engineering practices across the team.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Unreal Engine 5, modern C++, Blueprints, and shader development, with a strong understanding of real-time, performance-critical systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and evolution of technology strategies, architectural roadmaps, and system reviews, identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
- Play a key role in system architecture and product design, delivering high-quality engineering solutions using C++ and Blueprints.
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable, high-performance systems capable of handling demanding real-time workloads.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across the platform.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a strong focus on stability, determinism, and low latency.
- Own performance profiling and optimization across CPU, GPU, memory, and asset usage to meet 24/7 live-ops requirements.
- Conduct in-depth code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability across the codebase.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to support the professional growth of the engineering team.
- Establish and promote coding standards, review processes, and engineering best practices.
- Support troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis for complex technical issues in production and development environments.

Main Requirements
- Expert-level experience with Unreal Engine 5, including C++/Blueprint integration, shader development, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of real-time systems, low-latency pipelines, and skeletal animation systems.
- Experience integrating third-party SDKs, especially in computer vision, body tracking, analytics, or similar domains.
- Minimum 8 years of professional C++ development experience, ideally in performance-critical or real-time applications.
- Strong expertise in modern C++ (C++14/17/20), memory management, and high-performance system design.
- Extensive experience with multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with 24/7 live operations, including hotfixing, rapid patch cycles, monitoring, and incident response.
- Strong debugging and profiling skills using Unreal Insights, RenderDoc, Visual Studio, and platform-specific tools.
- Comfortable exploring new technologies, rapid prototyping, and validating feasibility for production.
- Solid mathematical foundation, especially in 3D maths, vectors, matrices, and transformations.
- Experience working with gaming products, simulation systems, or other performance-critical applications is highly desirable.
