Senior User Acquisition Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior User Acquisition Manager based in United Kingdom.

This role will lead user acquisition for a newly launched free-to-play mobile poker app, taking it from early-stage growth through scalable acquisition. You’ll manage substantial budgets across major paid channels while making data-driven decisions around spend, bidding, targeting, and cohort quality. The role combines hands-on campaign management with creative strategy, experimentation, measurement, and channel expansion. You’ll work closely with creative, product, BI, and external platform partners to continuously improve acquisition performance. Success will be measured through CPI, retention, payer conversion, and D7/D30/D90 ROAS, with LTV predictions guiding investment decisions. This is an opportunity to have significant ownership in a lean, fast-moving marketing team and directly influence the growth of a mobile gaming product.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and optimize daily user acquisition campaigns across Meta, Google App Campaigns, TikTok, Apple Ads, in-app networks such as AppLovin, Unity, ironSource and Moloco, and programmatic DSPs.
  • Help define UA strategy and channel mix, using performance data to recommend where and how acquisition investment should be allocated.
  • Test new channels, platforms, targeting approaches, and acquisition strategies to identify scalable sources of growth.
  • Develop strong relationships with advertising platforms and network partners to secure support, beta opportunities, and favorable commercial terms.
  • Maintain and improve the measurement infrastructure, including AppsFlyer, SKAN, postbacks, event taxonomy, attribution, and fraud monitoring.
  • Own the creative testing pipeline in partnership with the creative team, developing concepts and hooks, briefing new assets, establishing structured testing frameworks, and scaling successful creatives across channels.
  • Monitor creative fatigue and continuously refresh winning concepts, including UGC, TikTok-native formats, and playable ads.
  • Track competitor activity across poker, social casino, and the broader mobile gaming market to identify new creative and acquisition opportunities.
  • Partner with creative and product teams to improve app-store conversion through screenshots, videos, custom product pages, store listing experiments, and broader ASO initiatives.
  • Optimize campaigns against CPI and D7/D30/D90 ROAS targets, with a strong focus on retention, payer conversion, and overall cohort quality.
  • Work with BI teams on LTV predictions and use cohort insights to inform bidding, budget allocation, and scaling decisions.
  • Share acquisition and cohort insights with product teams to support improvements in retention and monetization.
  • Provide regular reporting on spend, cohort quality, performance, and forecasts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
