Senior UX Designer

The role

Our Senior UX Designers are responsible for creating intuitive, accessible and engaging digital experiences that solve real user needs while delivering measurable business value. Working closely with Lead Designers, Product Managers, Strategists and Technologists, you will help shape user experiences across a broad range of digital products and services.

You will bring a strong foundation in user-centred design, applying research, insight and experimentation to understand customer needs, identify opportunities and design effective solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to project direction, support client engagement activities and help ensure a consistently high standard of UX delivery across projects.

You will champion best practice in UX design, helping teams uncover meaningful insights, validate ideas and deliver seamless experiences across web, mobile and emerging digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead UX activities throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and definition through to design, testing and delivery.
  • Conduct and synthesise user research, stakeholder interviews, workshops and usability testing to identify user needs and opportunities.
  • Translate customer insights, business objectives and technical requirements into clear, actionable experience solutions.
  • Create user journeys, service blueprints, information architectures, task flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Design intuitive, accessible and user-centred experiences across web, mobile and connected digital products.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, strategists, designers and engineers to define and deliver effective solutions.
  • Facilitate and participate in workshops, co-creation sessions and design thinking activities with clients and project teams.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and evaluate success.
  • Present design concepts, research findings and recommendations confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Advocate for accessibility, inclusion and usability best practices throughout the design process.
  • Work with development teams to ensure design intent is maintained through implementation.
  • Support the continuous improvement of UX processes, methods and deliverables.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the design team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
