🚀 Senior UX / Product Designer – Motion & Interaction | London | Contract
📍 London – King's Cross | Hybrid – 3 days onsite
💰 Competitive hourly PAYE rate + holiday pay
📅 ASAP start – contract until 25 December 2026
I'm currently recruiting for an experienced UX/Product Designer to support a major global technology organisation within its mobile product ecosystem.
This is a hands-on role for a designer with particularly strong motion, interaction and visual product design expertise.
- You'll join a team responsible for mobile onboarding and settings experiences, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and fellow Designers.
- A major focus of the role will be a design library consolidation project. You'll audit existing components, assess their behaviour and usability, identify opportunities to align or differentiate experiences, and work closely with engineers through implementation and quality testing.
- Alongside this, you'll contribute to wider onboarding projects and create polished design assets that communicate new experiences to internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for
- 6+ years of motion design experience within product design or UX/UI animation
- Strong interaction and visual design experience
- Experience working with design systems and component libraries
- Advanced Figma skills
- Strong experience collaborating with engineers, Product Managers and UX Researchers
- Experience designing and testing user-centred product experiences
- Strong prototyping capability
- Experience using AI-assisted prototyping tools would be highly desirable
- Mobile, onboarding, settings or device-product experience would be particularly valuable
- Experience within a major technology or device environment would be advantageous

The work is predominantly focused on 2D product interaction and motion rather than 3D animation.
You'll need to be comfortable owning complex design problems, working through technical constraints and clearly communicating the rationale behind your design decisions to a range of stakeholders.
