Senior User Researcher
£500/day | Inside IR35 | London Hybrid | 6 Month Contract
I’m working with a leading financial services organisation looking for a Senior User Researcher to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.
This is a role for someone who can operate beyond individual research projects and help shape how User Research is used across the wider organisation. You’ll work closely with Design, Product and senior stakeholders, using research to influence decisions, challenge assumptions and help drive better product outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead end-to-end research across multiple initiatives, from planning and scoping through to delivery and recommendations
- Work closely with Design and Product teams to ensure research genuinely shapes decisions
- Engage with senior and challenging stakeholders, confidently advocating for User Research and handling resistance
- Use a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing
- Help improve Research best practice and maturity across the wider organisation
- Bring a strategic approach to research planning, moving beyond validation towards influencing product and business direction

- Strong commercial experience as a User Researcher at senior level
- Previous experience working within financial services is a must
- Experience operating in design-led, product-focused environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence at senior levels
- A strategic and mature approach to User Research, with a track record of influencing wider product or business decisions
£500/day | Inside IR35 | London Hybrid | 6 Months
