The Senior Utility Surveyor role is a full-time onsite/remote position responsible for managing and delivering utility and GPR survey projects from initial briefing through final reporting. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Planning survey methodologies
- Reviewing client specifications
- Interpreting existing utility records
- Coordinating remote site teams
The role involves assessing and validating PAS 128 utility survey outputs.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in utility surveying, including PAS 128 surveys, GPR investigations, and interpretation of underground services data.
- Competence in CAD and survey processing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) and digital data management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for remote collaboration with survey teams and clients, including the ability to explain technical findings clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines while working independently in a remote setting.
- Experience mentoring or supervising surveyors and contributing to quality assurance and health and safety practices.
- Valid right to work in UK.
