Castle Keep Surveys is a Land Surveying company based out of Durham.
We survey land, sea, and air primarily for the construction and utilities industries, providing Topographic Surveys, GPS Surveys, Utility Surveys, and 3D Laser Scanning.
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Utility Surveyor (office-based) with topographical and utility surveying experience to assist with drawing up surveys and post-process GPR data collected on-site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has worked within a specialist surveying company and has proven experience producing Topographical Drawings, Utility Drawings, and AutoCAD survey outputs.

Skills & Experience Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
- Previous experience working for a Topographical Surveying company or Utility Surveying company (required).
- Experience post-processing Pas 128 GPR data (required).
- QCF Level 5 Underground Utilities (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of survey data, CAD standards, and drawing production.
- Ability to produce Topographical and Utility CAD drawings to a professional standard.
- Provide technical guidance to clients and contractors on utility conflicts, safe excavation practices, and construction risks.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with surveyors and project managers.
