Senior UX/UI Designer | Banking & Financial Services
£600-650/day | Inside IR35 | Long-Term Contract
📍 London | Hybrid Working (2 days onsite, 3 remote)
I'm currently supporting a major digital transformation programme within a leading financial services organisation and am looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join a high-profile product team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex business-critical applications, helping to shape the future of enterprise digital experiences within a highly regulated environment.
We're particularly interested in designers who have delivered complex business applications within banking and can demonstrate strong design system ownership alongside exceptional prototyping skills.
Essential Experience
- Extensive Senior UX/UI Design experience
- Strong Banking or Financial Services background
- Design System expertise and scalable component design
- Advanced Figma and prototyping skills
- Experience designing complex business applications and internal platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation experience
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex design challenges
- Experience working in Agile product teams

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end UX and UI design across enterprise-scale digital products
- Creating user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Driving adoption and evolution of design systems and component libraries
- Working closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers, and business stakeholders
- Simplifying complex processes and workflows into intuitive user experiences
- Contributing to strategic design decisions whilst remaining hands-on in delivery
