We’re working with an exciting client operating across the telecommunications and satellite sector, who are looking to add an experienced Senior Validation Engineer to their growing engineering team.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on validation engineer to work across chip and system-level testing, with exposure to RF, analogue and high-speed communication technologies.
The role will involve:
- Planning, estimating and developing system validation and test strategies
- Validation of complex telecommunications and satellite systems
- Testing analogue, RF and high-speed communication blocks
- Working with SerDes and high-speed links
- Developing automated test environments using C/C++/Python or similar
- Investigating complex failures and driving issues through to root cause
- Working closely with hardware, software and systems engineering teams
- Managing defects and technical knowledge using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Contributing to validation methodologies and continuous improvement

We’re looking for experience with:
- Telecommunications or satellite systems
- Chip and system-level validation
- Analogue, RF and high-speed communication blocks
- SerDes, BERTs, DCAs and high-speed sampling scopes
- RF test equipment including spectrum analysers, VNAs/PNAs, signal generators and power meters
- Automated testing and programming in C, C++ or Python
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills
- System test planning and development
