G MASS are seeking a Valuations professional
G MASS are seeking a Valuations professional to join the Middle Office team of a leading hedge fund, covering pricing and NAV oversight across systematic and discretionary strategies.
This is a contract position
This is a contract position, reporting into a well-established function with a mature, well-controlled valuations infrastructure already in place.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day pricing and valuation oversight across a range of funds and instrument types
- Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies and valuation exceptions
- Validate third-party pricing and index data feeding into internal systems
- Liaise with front office, fund administrators, and internal teams on valuation matters
- Support quarterly and month-end valuation processes and audit packs
- Perform four-eye review of valuation outputs prior to sign-off

Requirements

- 5 years'+ experience in fund valuations, pricing, or middle office accounting
- CFA preferred; ACA or equivalent also considered
- Experience across both listed/cleared and less liquid or OTC instruments
- Strong analytical judgement and stakeholder management skills
- Short notice or immediately available preferred, given contract length

- Initial contract, with a view to extension
- Salary / day-rate: to be discussed
