Senior Valuations Analyst | London (hybrid, 3 days in office)
I'm partnering with a London fintech lender to hire a Senior Valuations Analyst for its revolving line of credit products. This is a single-owner role. You'll own the unit economics and lifetime value models for both products, reporting directly to the Head of Valuations. The card model has recently been rebuilt, and the line of credit model is being rebuilt this quarter, so you'll start with clean foundations and clear ownership.
What you'll do
- Own the valuation and unit economics models for credit card and line of credit, including refreshing assumptions and identifying where performance diverges from expectations.
- Provide the model outputs that feed budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Support marketing ROI by linking value per account to acquisition cost, with a move towards optimising channels on a pure NPV basis.
- Use the models to shape credit strategy, including policy cut-offs and credit limits.
- Work closely with Finance, Marketing and senior Credit and Cards leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for
- Valuation or NPV modelling experience in consumer credit. Revolving products (cards or lines of credit) are strongly preferred.
- Ideally 3 to 4 years' experience. We'll consider less if your experience is directly relevant and your analytical foundations are strong.
- Strong Excel modelling. SQL or Python is a plus.
- The ability to turn data into a clear business recommendation.
- Comfortable owning an area independently, with support available.
- Credit strategy experience on revolving products is also relevant, as is a background at lenders known for strong analytics teams.
