G MASS Valuations Professional Opportunity

G MASS are seeking a Valuations professional to join the Middle Office team of a leading hedge fund, covering pricing and NAV oversight across systematic and discretionary strategies.

This is a contract position, reporting into a well-established function with a mature, well-controlled valuations infrastructure already in place.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day pricing and valuation oversight across a range of funds and instrument types
  • Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies and valuation exceptions
  • Validate third-party pricing and index data feeding into internal systems
  • Liaise with front office, fund administrators, and internal teams on valuation matters
  • Support quarterly and month-end valuation processes and audit packs
  • Perform four-eye review of valuation outputs prior to sign-off

Requirements

  • 5 years'+ experience in fund valuations, pricing, or middle office accounting
  • CFA preferred; ACA or equivalent also considered
  • Experience across both listed/cleared and less liquid or OTC instruments
  • Strong analytical judgement and stakeholder management skills
  • Short notice or immediately available preferred, given contract length
