About the Job
Working closely with the VAT Partner and senior leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing VAT advisory services to UK and international clients across a wide range of sectors
- Advising on complex matters including property VAT, international trade, partial exemption and M&A transactions
- Managing a portfolio of clients and building long-term trusted relationships
- Leading business development initiatives and identifying new opportunities for growth
- Managing project scoping, budgets and billing processes
- Representing the VAT team through technical content, webinars and client-facing events
- Mentoring and developing junior team members while supporting wider team growth

Previous Experience
- Extensive VAT experience gained within practice, industry or HMRC
- Current VAT Manager or VAT Senior Manager with strong advisory expertise
- CTA qualified preferred, although not essential
- Experience managing a varied portfolio of VAT clients
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Excellent communication, commercial awareness and stakeholder management abilities
