Location: Norwich
Salary: £38,000 basic salary per annum + bonus + OTE
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm paid at overtime rate

ISQ Recruitment is working with a well-established automotive business in the Norwich area to recruit an experienced Senior Technician & MOT Tester for a busy and professional aftersales department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with strong technical ability to step into a senior workshop role, supporting high-quality servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and defect rectification. The role offers a strong basic salary, bonus potential, ongoing training, and long-term stability within a supportive workshop environment.
We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated Senior Technician who can work confidently within manufacturer standards, manage technical workloads effectively, and support the wider team with a professional and customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose faults and complete defect rectification efficiently and accurately
- Support more complex technical work within the workshop
- Identify worn components, defects, and additional repair requirements
- Complete warranty repairs and associated paperwork correctly
- Work safely and responsibly, following all health and safety procedures
- Support junior or less experienced members of the workshop team where required
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, efficiency, and customer care
Candidate Requirements
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Servicing and Repair, or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Senior Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Vehicle Technician, or Motor Vehicle Technician
- Strong technical, diagnostic, and fault-finding ability
- Confident working independently within time constraints
- Good communication skills and a positive team-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence essential
- MOT licence Class 4 & 7
- Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality work

- 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am - 12:00pm, paid at overtime rate.
Benefits
- up to £38,000 basic salary per annum
- Bonus scheme around £6,000
- Overtime available and paid for 1:3 Saturdays (circa £1,780 extra)
